Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and deliver engaging Food and Nutrition lessons to Senior Secondary School students in accordance with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
  • Prepare students comprehensively for major external examinations including WAEC, NECO, and UTME.
  • Develop comprehensive lesson plans, practical demonstration sessions, and instructional materials that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous academic improvement.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized laboratory and classroom environment for all practical food and nutrition classes.
  • Participate actively in school co-curricular activities, parent-teacher conferences, and departmental meetings.

Qualifications
  • Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition, Home Economics, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven teaching experience, specifically preparing senior secondary students for WAEC, NECO, and UTME examinations.
  • In-depth knowledge of food science, dietary planning, culinary arts, and Nigerian nutritional standards.
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to integrate modern digital tools into everyday teaching.
  • Must be enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated to holistic student development.
