Key Responsibilities
  • Teach nursery and primary pupils effectively using the approved NERDC curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
  • Manage classroom behavior proactively to ensure a focused and respectful atmosphere.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school-wide extracurricular activities and events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to improve educational outcomes and school programs.
Qualifications
  • Interested candidates must possess a minimum of an NCE or a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant teaching experience in a reputable nursery or primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding and practical knowledge of the NERDC curriculum.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to holistic child development.
  • Patience, creativity, and the ability to inspire young learners.
