Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Food and Nutrition lessons in accordance with the approved Nigerian and international curriculum.
  • Conduct practical kitchen laboratory sessions, ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and proper equipment handling.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  • Participate in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
  • Uphold the Christian values and ethical standards of the institution at all times.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is mandatory.
  • A degree in Food Science, Home Economics, Nutrition, or a closely related field.
  • Proven relevant teaching experience in Food and Nutrition at the secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to integrate Christian values into teaching practices.
