About the Role
Prestigious Consulting Group, a leading global staffing agency in Lagos, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Food Manufacturing Project Manager. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead innovative food manufacturing and product development initiatives for top-tier clients across the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and food processing sectors. You will play a crucial part in translating culinary concepts into market-ready products while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end food manufacturing and product development projects from initial concept through to full commercialization.
- Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations to ensure successful outcomes.
- Coordinate product formulation, pilot plant production, industrial scale-up, and manufacturing readiness.
- Ensure strict compliance with NAFDAC regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and other relevant food safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional manufacturing and R&D teams to optimize production processes and enhance product quality.
- Contribute to proposal development, accurate project scoping, and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports and deliver regular progress updates to senior management and clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- 4 to 6 years of professional experience in food manufacturing, product development, or food processing environments.
- Demonstrated success in managing food products from concept stage through to commercial production.
- Thorough understanding of NAFDAC registration procedures, GMP, HACCP, and standard food manufacturing workflows.
- Prior working experience within the FMCG or commercial food production sector is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional project management, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Hands-on operational experience working directly within a food processing or manufacturing facility.
