Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, test, and optimize drilling and completion fluid systems to ensure maximum wellbore stability and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct daily mud chemical testing and analyze fluid properties according to industry standards.
  • Perform fluid hydraulics optimization to enhance drilling performance and mitigate potential downhole risks.
  • Oversee waste management procedures and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory tracking for drilling chemicals and coordinate timely replenishment with suppliers.
  • Collaborate closely with drilling supervisors, rig personnel, and engineering teams to resolve fluid-related challenges on-site.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on professional experience as a Mud or Fluids Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong, comprehensive knowledge of water-based, oil-based, and synthetic fluid systems.
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex fluid issues and implement effective engineering solutions.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to HSE standards.
