About the Role
Fastest Cakes was birthed with the vision of delivering awesome and affordable cakes very fast. We are currently seeking detail-oriented and proactive Fleet Managers to join our operations teams in Ikeja and Lekki. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our delivery fleet operates at peak efficiency, maintaining our promise of speed and reliability to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise drivers and oversee general fleet operations to ensure smooth daily deliveries.
- Inspect vehicles regularly and ensure potential mechanical or safety issues are resolved swiftly.
- Ensure all fuel entries and logs are accurate, monitored, and thoroughly accounted for.
- Schedule vehicles for routine maintenance and servicing to minimize downtime.
- Organize and schedule safety and operational trainings for drivers.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies and transport laws.
- Work from the office 23 days a month while maintaining a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in fleet management or logistics.
- Must reside preferably near Ikeja or Lekki to ensure seamless proximity to the workplace.
- Must know how to drive with a valid, current driver's license.
- Strong communication, memorisation, and teamwork skills.
- Exceptional capacity to perform duties diligently, particularly during high-stress operational situations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some Sundays and public holidays.
- Demonstrated commitment and willingness to grow with the company long term.
- Competitive salary starting from ₦300,000 monthly for Ikeja and ₦350,000 monthly for Lekki.
