Key Responsibilities- Coordinate end-to-end freight bookings, cargo movement, real-time tracking, and final delivery by air, sea, and land.
- Process vital shipping documentation accurately and coordinate seamless customs clearance procedures.
- Liaise effectively with shipping lines, airlines, customs agents, haulage providers, and corporate clients.
- Obtain competitive freight quotations, negotiate rates, and strictly monitor shipment costs against approved budgets.
- Arrange efficient cargo collection, domestic transportation, warehousing, and final mile delivery.
- Provide proactive shipment updates to stakeholders and swiftly resolve any operational delays.
- Maintain comprehensive shipment records and prepare accurate operational reports for management.
- Ensure total compliance with customs regulations, port authorities, and safety and security requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of proven professional experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian customs procedures, shipping documentation, and port operations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with relevant professional certifications acting as a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional competencies in shipment planning, negotiation, cost control, regulatory compliance, and problem-solving.
