About the Role
Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC is a leading, full-service financial services group in Nigeria, committed to delivering exceptional banking and wealth management solutions. We are currently looking for a dynamic, experienced, and results-driven Fleet Management Team Lead to join our operations team. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate and manage the bank’s fleet in accordance with corporate operating policies, budgetary constraints, and personnel guidelines while aligning our operating systems with international standards.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor the quality and efficiency of services provided by third-party fleet service providers.
- Coordinate the strategic deployment of dedicated pool vehicles to various business units as required.
- Manage and monitor vehicle requests from expatriate staff members and internal personnel.
- Maintain high service standards to positively project the bank’s corporate image through professional drivers and quality fleet operations.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term policies ensuring compliance with global best practices in fleet management and national transport policies.
- Analyze operational data to monitor performance, plan continuous improvements, and forecast future demand.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations across all supervised areas, recommending proactive improvements.
- Drive the effective rollout of change initiatives by tracking projects, reporting milestones, and conducting readiness assessments.
- Bachelor's degree in Management Sciences, Transport Management, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications in fleet or logistics management will be an added advantage.
- At least 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience managing a robust fleet unit within a structured corporate environment.
