About the Role
Best Service Raya is a leading player in the mobile phone and small domestic appliance distribution sector, and we are currently looking for a responsible, reliable, and experienced Company Driver. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our supply chain by ensuring the safe and timely transportation of staff, goods, and official documents across Lagos. The ideal candidate will possess excellent navigational skills, a strong commitment to road safety, and the ability to handle logistics and inventory support.
Key Responsibilities- Transport staff, clients, and company goods to designated destinations promptly and safely.
- Handle the distribution and sales logistics of mobile phones and small domestic appliances.
- Ensure the company vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and adequately fueled at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and road safety regulations in Lagos State.
- Maintain accurate logs of all trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Ensure that all vehicle documents, including Insurance and Road Worthiness, remain valid.
- Report any mechanical faults, accidents, or vehicular damage to management immediately.
- Assist with the loading and offloading of goods during deliveries when necessary.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven professional experience as a Company Driver.
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License, with a valid LASDRI card being a distinct advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Lagos road networks and traffic management systems.
- Minimum educational qualification of SSCE or OND.
- Basic knowledge of routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to read and write proficiently.
- Must be honest, hardworking, disciplined, and reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the office.
