About the Role
CourierPlus is a leading logistics and distribution services company established in 2009, offering a wide array of express courier and logistic support solutions. As an authorized associate partner of TNT Express Network in Nigeria, we pride ourselves on safe, prompt, and efficient deliveries across diverse sectors. We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee our growing fleet operations and ensure maximum vehicle availability at our Ikeja, Lagos facility.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the comprehensive maintenance and servicing of all company vehicles to guarantee operational readiness.
- Develop, implement, and monitor robust preventive maintenance schedules to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Ensure all vehicles strictly adhere to roadworthiness, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise internal mechanics and technicians while effectively managing external maintenance vendors.
- Monitor repair costs, optimize spare parts usage, and manage the departmental maintenance budget.
- Diagnose recurring vehicle faults and implement long-term corrective measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital records of vehicle repairs, servicing, and maintenance history.
- Provide regular, detailed reports to management on fleet condition, maintenance activities, and downtime metrics.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in fleet maintenance within a logistics, transport, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, major repairs, routine servicing, and preventive maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience in managing maintenance teams, technicians, and external service vendors.
- Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Must be resident in or willing to work on-site in Ikeja, Lagos.
