We are currently looking for a talented Operations & Maintenance Technician - Electrical to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in maximizing the environmental and economic performance of our power plants and marine installations while driving our vision toward a decarbonized and sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all plant-related operations and maintenance activities effectively within the assigned shift.
- Troubleshoot 4-stroke engines electrically and conduct comprehensive electrical maintenance on engine auxiliary systems.
- Perform trending and analysis of various operational parameters, utilizing electrical measuring equipment accurately.
- Execute planned and unplanned maintenance tasks, ensuring proper resource reporting and documentation in the logbook history.
- Implement routine preventive maintenance checks, including vibration and temperature inspections on rotating equipment.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, permitting requirements, and technical bulletins.
- Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Strong foundational understanding of diesel engines, auxiliary systems, and electrical measuring equipment.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems such as Maximo.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards in industrial environments.
