About the Role
ProDevs is a global talent and technology company helping businesses build, hire, and scale with trusted technical talent. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Fleet & Driver Operations Manager to own the day-to-day movement, deployment, and utilisation of ProTaxi's electric vehicle fleet and driver network in Abuja.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily vehicle deployment, driver assignments, and strategic shift planning.
- Track vehicle utilisation, idle time, trip activity, and overall driver performance.
- Monitor vehicle location, charging status, and operational exceptions through the management platform.
- Manage driver schedules, seamless vehicle handovers, and strict operational discipline.
- Coordinate accident, breakdown, maintenance, and downtime incidents efficiently.
- Manage driver performance evaluations, daily complaints, and service escalations.
- Coordinate prompt vehicle reassignment where drivers exit or underperform.
- Maintain operating dashboards covering utilisation, downtime, and driver productivity.
- Work closely with the EV & Charging Operations Lead to maximise fleet availability.
- 4 to 6 years of proven experience in ride-hailing, logistics, delivery, transport, or fleet management.
- Hands-on responsibility managing drivers and vehicles in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong working knowledge of the Abuja transport and logistics market.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to handle emergency breakdowns and operational bottlenecks.
- Proficiency in operating dashboards and tracking tools for fleet management.
- Competitive monthly compensation of ₦500,000 - ₦650,000.
