About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Fine Arts lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum for secondary school students.
- Instruct students in drawing, painting, sculpture, and other art mediums, encouraging individual expression and technical skill development.
- Create a vibrant, creative, and inclusive classroom environment that stimulates imagination and artistic exploration.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Organize student art exhibitions, school art displays, and cultural events to showcase student talent.
- Maintain art studio equipment, manage material inventories, and ensure a safe working environment for all students.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members and participate in school co-curricular activities and staff meetings.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Fine Arts, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- A relevant teaching certification (such as TRCN) is highly desirable and preferred.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience teaching Fine Arts at the secondary school level.
- Demonstrated proficiency in various art forms, including drawing, painting, and craftwork.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
