About the Role
Tangerine Africa is looking for a dedicated and analytical Financial Reporting Analyst to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, contributing directly to our organizational success in Nigeria's vibrant financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review general ledger accounts including assets, liabilities, equity, income, and expenses.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper classification of all daily financial transactions.
- Manage intercompany balances and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Provide comprehensive support during year-end audit exercises by preparing requisite documentation and schedules.
- Conduct detailed account analyses and assist the finance team with ad-hoc reporting requirements as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- Active professional certification in finance or accounting from a recognized body such as ICAN, ACCA, CFA, or CGMA.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in financial reporting, general accounting, or auditing.
- Strong proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
