About the Role
Mixta Nigeria is a leading player in investment management and real estate, driven by the core brand idea of 'Realising Ambitions.' We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Financial Planning Specialist to join our on-site team in Victoria Island, Lagos. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting strategic and operational decision-making by developing robust financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for our diverse portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Build, maintain, and review detailed financial models for assigned projects using advanced spreadsheet tools.
- Gather, validate, and analyze financial and operational data to support accurate forecasting and budgeting.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial performance reports and management presentations.
- Perform variance analysis comparing actual project performance against budgeted figures to identify root causes and suggest corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in project review meetings to provide actionable financial insights.
- Ensure data integrity across financial planning systems and maintain organized records of all financial analyses.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related academic field.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CPA are considered a strong advantage.
- 3 to 5+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data interpretation, and advanced Excel usage.
- Prior experience in real estate, infrastructure, or project-based environments in emerging markets is beneficial.
