About the Role

Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa's real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a dynamic Financial Planning Analyst to join our growing finance team in Nigeria. In this role, you will support the Head of Group FP&A with forecasting, budgeting, and reporting cycles, while acting as the dedicated finance partner for smaller subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the Group consolidation model monthly, reconciling actuals to forecast and flagging variances.
  • Provide comprehensive forecasting, budgeting, and management-reporting support directly to assigned subsidiaries.
  • Prepare high-quality Board and management reporting packs on a fixed monthly and quarterly cadence.
  • Drive the annual budget process, including template creation, data collection from business units, consolidation, and variance commentary.
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators and unit economics across relevant entities.
  • Handle ad-hoc financial analysis requests from the CFO, Head of Group FP&A, or subsidiary leadership.

Qualifications
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or possess an equivalent analytical background.
  • 4 to 6 years of professional experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, with experience handling multi-entity and multi-currency data.
  • Prior experience in banking, fintech, or regulated environments is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
