About the Role
Rubels & Angels, a premier destination for delicious meals and complete food experiences, is seeking a dynamic and analytical Financial Controller to lead our finance team. In this strategic role, you will oversee all financial operations, drive cost control, and ensure profitability across our growing restaurant branches in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, accounting functions, and cash flow management across all branches.
- Prepare and manage comprehensive budgets, financial forecasts, and detailed monthly reports.
- Monitor cost of sales, inventory valuation, and implement effective expense control measures.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping, regular reconciliations, and meticulous record-keeping.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure timely statutory remittances including taxes and pensions.
- Conduct insightful financial analysis to support executive management decision-making.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and internal control standards.
- Liaise effectively with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide the accounting and finance team to achieve departmental goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Active professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA is strongly preferred.
- 4 to 6 years of proven experience in financial management or accounting, ideally within the hospitality, quick-service restaurant (QSR), or multi-branch retail sector.
- Demonstrated proficiency in modern accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations.
