About the Role

Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is a global health nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and building stronger health systems worldwide. Since 1971, we have collaborated with policymakers, health professionals, and communities across more than 150 countries to address critical health challenges such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, and maternal and child health. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Finance & Admin Associate to join our team in Nigeria, ensuring the seamless execution of daily administrative and financial operations at the state level while maintaining strict compliance with organizational policies and donor regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare payment vouchers and schedules for vendors and participants while properly coding all financial transactions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of all transactions into QuickBooks and maintain comprehensive accounting and administrative files.
  • Manage state-level tax payments, statutory obligations, and follow up on outstanding vendor reconciliations.
  • Provide logistical support, including hotel bookings for staff and consultants, travel arrangements, and event coordination.
  • Oversee inventory and asset management, monitor utility consumption, and coordinate local procurement of goods and services.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees by preparing workspaces, equipment, and required materials.
  • Generate accurate monthly financial and administrative reports in compliance with MSH internal controls and Nigerian government regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, and office administration.
  • Proficiency in using QuickBooks and financial management software.
  • Prior experience working within large, complex organizations, with international NGO experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of core accounting principles, internal controls, and statutory compliance requirements.
