About the Role
Aldelia Limited is seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations, project finance, and regulatory compliance in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will ensure robust financial health, drive investment planning, and manage complex tax and foreign exchange protocols while supporting our expanding operations in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities- Manage financial and accounting systems to ensure adequate project funding, timely milestone disbursements, and proper handling of bonds and bank guarantees.
- Conduct short, medium, and long-term investment planning, financial forecasting, and cash flow risk management.
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll administration, and vendor contract management.
- Coordinate with banks and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for FX protocols, capital importation certificates, tax management, and statutory deductions.
- Produce monthly financial reports, manage internal ledgers, and oversee annual external audits.
- Ensure strict adherence to Nigerian financial regulations, corporate governance, and legal compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Compulsory professional certification such as ACA or ACCA.
- Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in financial controlling or project finance, ideally within the energy or utilities sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian financial laws, tax management, and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) FX protocols.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
