We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Financial Accounting Teacher to join our esteemed academic team in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, comprehensive, and structured lessons in Financial Accounting to secondary school students in alignment with the approved curriculum.
- Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations such as WAEC, NECO, and other relevant assessments.
- Integrate modern educational technology and digital tools into daily classroom instruction to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to learners who need academic improvement.
- Foster a disciplined, inclusive, and academically stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and financial literacy.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school management to plan extracurricular activities, school events, and departmental meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assignments, and continuous assessment scores.
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or a relevant Degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Minimum of 2 years of active teaching experience handling Financial Accounting or related commercial subjects.
- Must have successfully completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology, learning management systems, and virtual teaching tools.
- Relevant professional teaching or accounting certifications will serve as a distinct added advantage.
- Deep passion for teaching, strong moral character, and a proven commitment to holistic student development.
- Must reside within the Amuwo Odofin axis or its close environs for ease of commute.
