We are currently seeking a meticulous and results-driven Financial Accountant to oversee our critical financial operations, ensure process integrity, and contribute to our continued growth in Nigeria's fast-paced manufacturing and distribution sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, monitor, and review daily financial activities and ensure process timeliness.
  • Review cost statements and capital expenditure (Capex) ledgers thoroughly.
  • Play a leading role in the successful implementation of our new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Conduct daily reviews of customer and vendor ledgers alongside detailed aging analyses.
  • Monitor and ensure timely posting of all bank loans, transactions, and interest calculations.
  • Prepare, monitor, and review intercompany transactions with monthly reconciliations.
  • Maintain traceable financial transaction records and commitments.
  • Resolve financial discrepancies by analyzing account information for internal and external audits.
  • Perform daily bank account reconciliations and coordinate with internal and external auditors.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • Active professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or ICAN is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 7 years of solid experience in finance operations including treasury, payments, forex transactions, and high-volume manufacturing controls.
  • Strong analytical skillset encompassing both numerical and regulatory frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in computer software, particularly Microsoft Excel with complex formula capabilities, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Exceptional leadership, written and oral communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
