About the Role
Seven Up Bottling Company, a renowned leader in the beverage industry, is seeking a dedicated and analytical Finance Specialist - Payables to join our dynamic finance team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will act as a frontline controller of the company's cash outflows, vendor relationships, and overall financial integrity. Key Responsibilities- Accurately process and post OTC invoices within 24 hours of receipt while reducing payment errors.
- Complete Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt (GR/IR) postings within 3 days and flag discrepancies immediately.
- Perform routine vendor account reconciliations and resolve queries from vendors within 24 hours.
- Ensure 100% tax compliance including VAT and WHT across all financial transactions and postings.
- Complete allocated regional postings within 4 days and clear all inter-region postings prior to month-end.
- Securely attach all necessary supporting documentation to SAP transactions within 24 hours of posting.
- BSc or HND degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant professional working experience in payables or general accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
