About the Role
FundQuest Financial Services Limited is a leading financial intermediation company licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to provide tailored financial and advisory solutions. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Finance Operations Officer to join our high-performing team in Lagos. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining financial integrity, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards within Nigeria's dynamic financial sector.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accurate financial reporting and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and submit timely regulatory returns to the Central Bank of Nigeria and other relevant authorities.
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes to ensure seamless compliance and transparency.
- Monitor departmental and organizational budgets, conducting variance analysis to control costs.
- Handle corporate taxation matters and liaise with relevant tax authorities.
- Provide reliable financial data and analysis to support executive management in strategic planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the financial services or banking sector.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting frameworks, and tax regulations in Nigeria.
- Proven expertise in regulatory compliance, audit management, and budget monitoring.
- Possession of or active progress toward relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Exceptional analytical skills, high attention to detail, and proficiency in modern accounting software.
