About the Role
Kaplo Africa is Africa's most innovative Human Resource & Business Support Solutions provider, dedicated to driving productivity, profitability, and sustainable growth for our diverse clientele. We are currently recruiting a highly organised, commercially aware, and proactive Finance & Operations Officer to join our client's thriving team located in Lekki, Lagos. The ideal candidate will seamlessly blend a solid background in accounting and practical audit experience with a strong aptitude for day-to-day business operations. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you will take complete ownership of financial controls, reconciliations, regulatory compliance, and operational workflows with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, bookkeeping, and comprehensive accounting records.
- Prepare periodic financial reports, schedules, and management accounts.
- Perform accurate bank, cash, receivables, and payables reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow dynamics and support effective working capital management.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing expense monitoring.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing required schedules and documentation.
- Review financial processes, identify control weaknesses, and implement robust internal controls.
- Ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance across all business activities.
- Coordinate administrative and operational processes to guarantee smooth daily workflows.
- Liaise effectively with banks, vendors, auditors, and other key external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- ICAN qualification or currently in view is strictly mandatory.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, audit, or financial operations.
- Demonstrated practical audit experience is required.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Must be resident in Lagos and willing to work fully onsite in Lekki, Monday through Friday.
