We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Finance Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end closes, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Process and review financial records, invoices, bills, and postings to ensure accuracy and proper maintenance.
- Perform bank and relevant reconciliations, investigating differences and tracking outstanding items.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments, and schedule preparation.
- Prepare tax computations and draft statutory filings such as VAT, WHT, and PAYE for review.
- Maintain engagement records, workpapers, and project trackers using collaboration tools like Zoho Projects.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, associates, and clients to resolve discrepancies and keep workflows moving smoothly.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant practical accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of Nigerian tax and statutory requirements including VAT, WHT, and PAYE.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with experience in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Zoho Books being an added advantage.
