About the Role
AETOS Limited, a leading engineering company specializing in vertical and inclined transportation solutions through AETOS Lifts and AETOS Technical Services, is seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Officer. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving our financial health, ensuring strict compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, and providing strategic guidance to support our ongoing business expansion in a dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit and Loss statements.
- Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity and resource allocation.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws, including CIT, VAT, WHT, and PAYE, while liaising with tax authorities and auditors.
- Oversee receivables, implement robust credit control processes, and manage end-to-end payroll operations.
- Provide actionable financial insights and risk mitigation strategies to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
- Deep, practical knowledge of the Nigerian tax system and regulatory framework.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Prior experience in the engineering, technical services, or fast-paced growing industries is a strong advantage.
