About the Role

Corona Management Systems (CMS) is a dynamic Social Enterprise dedicated to driving impactful change through technical and management support in health, education, and social development. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our professional finance team. In this hands-on role, you will play a crucial part in supporting both our day-to-day organizational accounting and the complex financial management of our diverse, multi-donor projects and programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records including journals, ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
  • Perform regular bank, supplier, and staff account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor organizational and project expenditure against approved budgets and flag significant variances.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, budget-versus-actual analysis, and audit preparations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal financial policies, statutory regulations, and donor requirements.
  • Support payroll processing, tax remittances, pension administration, and other statutory obligations.
  • Collaborate across teams to strengthen financial processes, internal controls, and overall accountability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications or progress toward ICAN, ACCA, or ANAN is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably within NGOs, development, consulting, or health sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience with project accounting, grant management, and donor-funded programmes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern accounting software applications.
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and analytical skills with high standards of integrity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of French or Portuguese is a plus.
