About the Role
Maanj Agric (Maanj Agric Food Secure Nigeria) is a dynamic and fast-growing agri-tech and food manufacturing enterprise based in Zaria, Kaduna State. Founded in 2022 by CEO Daniel Makpa and COO Salome Ibrahim Daniel, we leverage cutting-edge technology to build sustainable networks for food production, grain storage, and nationwide distribution. We are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical Finance Officer to join our vibrant team and support our mission of ensuring food security through robust financial management and transparency.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate daily financial records, ledgers, and documentation for all business transactions.
- Perform regular bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Assist in preparing periodic financial reports, budgeting, and cash flow forecasts.
- Collaborate with management to monitor operational expenses and implement cost-control measures.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently while maintaining positive vendor and client relations.
- Possession of a Bachelor degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience in financial record keeping, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general data analysis.
- Strong background in accounting principles with familiarity in modern accounting software as a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and absolute integrity.
