We are currently seeking a trustworthy, results-driven Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations, maintain accurate accounting records, monitor revenue and expenses, and support strategic business decisions in a dynamic, high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily financial operations, maintain accurate accounting records, and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Track daily sales, monitor revenue across business units, reconcile sales records, and ensure all income is properly accounted for.
- Operate and manage the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions, recording sales, and reconciling payments.
- Reconcile cash, transfers, card payments, POS transactions, and other payment channels to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including revenue reports, expense summaries, and cash flow updates.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, track outstanding payments, and ensure timely settlement of financial obligations.
- Support payroll preparation and maintain accurate employee-related financial records, including allowances and deductions.
- Monitor stock-related transactions, reconcile inventory records with sales, and investigate discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls to prevent errors, minimize losses, and promote transparency.
- Support compliance with applicable tax, accounting, and statutory regulatory requirements.
- Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proven relevant experience in accounting, financial management, or a similar role, preferably within hospitality, retail, or wellness sectors.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software and POS systems.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high integrity and attention to detail.
