About the Role
Spin 95.3 FM is a leading commercial broadcast radio station operating 24/7 out of Umuahia, Abia State, connecting with vibrant youth and general audiences across the Southeast. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, dedicated, and proactive Accountant to join our dynamic media team and drive our financial operations to new heights.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily financial transactions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and profit-loss statements.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory deductions, and regulatory financial standards.
- Oversee budget preparation, expense tracking, and variance analysis to support business growth.
- Maintain secure, organized financial records and collaborate with external auditors as required.
- Process payroll and manage internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ICAN or ANAN is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within the media or corporate sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and impeccable integrity.
- Excellent knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
