About the Role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc (FMN), a prominent leader in the Nigerian manufacturing and consumer goods sector renowned for its iconic Golden Penny brand, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Finance Manager - Supply Chain Disco. In this strategic role, you will provide end-to-end financial support to the Group Supply Chain Director and MD GTD, acting as a trusted business partner to ensure financial discipline, drive cost optimization, and enable informed decision-making across our extensive supply chain operations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with supply chain leadership to drive business performance through actionable, data-driven financial insights.
- Provide comprehensive financial support across procurement, logistics, and distribution operations.
- Review procurement contracts and pricing structures to ensure commercial viability, market competitiveness, and strict compliance with company policies.
- Manage and maintain robust financial controls, governance standards, and audit requirements across all supply chain activities.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, long-range strategic planning, and quarterly rolling forecasts.
- Conduct advanced financial modelling, scenario analysis, and P&L sensitivity assessments to support strategic business decisions.
- Monitor key cost drivers, working capital performance, and targeted initiatives aimed at improving overall supply chain productivity.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 6 to 12 years of progressive experience in supply chain finance, with specific exposure to procurement, logistics, and distribution.
- Proven professional background spanning both Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and financial control functions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills with demonstrated expertise in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
