About the Role
Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme Ltd/Gte (ECEWS) is a leading indigenous non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to qualitative healthcare, education, and economic strengthening services across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to provide robust financial leadership, ensure optimal resource utilization, and maintain strict compliance with organizational and donor standards for our public health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial operations of the project, including budgeting, disbursement, and financial reporting.
- Supervise finance officers across state offices to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial record-keeping.
- Review and process financial transactions in strict compliance with organizational and donor policies.
- Prepare comprehensive periodic financial reports for management and donor review.
- Support proactive budget monitoring and variance analysis at both project and state levels.
- Deliver against approved milestone plans and quarterly performance targets, supporting integrated service delivery.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and prompt resolution of any financial discrepancies.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably within USG-funded non-profit projects.
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of donor financial compliance requirements and regulations.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
- High level of professional integrity, confidentiality, and keen attention to detail.
- Relevant professional accounting certification (such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA) is strongly preferred.
