Key Responsibilities
  • Lead comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes aligned with company strategic goals.
  • Oversee accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance to optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate across departments to implement effective cost control measures and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct rigorous financial analysis to guide business decisions regarding product development, pricing strategies, and investments.
  • Manage external relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities to maintain financial integrity.
  • Monitor inventory and procurement market costs to protect profit margins.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and immediate support to the internal finance team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, preferably within the food, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector in Nigeria.
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and advanced financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and market procurement dynamics.
  • Exceptional analytical, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
