About the Role
erpSOFTapp is a team of experienced Business and IT professionals specializing in large-scale enterprise system implementations for global companies. We are looking for a motivated and analytical Finance Intern to join our dynamic project team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in implementing financial accounts onto modern accounting systems, helping our clients improve business processes and enhance their competitive advantage through tailored Odoo solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake the implementation of accounts and chart of accounts onto enterprise accounting systems.
- Record trading activities and establish true trading positions by reviewing trial balances, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and general ledgers.
- Reconcile various company accounts accurately and efficiently within ongoing implementation projects.
- Review and implement ledgers covering assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and equity to provide actionable information to management.
- Monitor and review creditors and debtors ledgers, including aged debtors reports.
- Collaborate effectively within a project team of accountants to meet strict project deadlines and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of professional or internship experience in an accounting environment.
- Solid foundational knowledge of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with IFRS standards is considered a strong advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in using spreadsheets and financial software.
- Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
