About the Role

We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure to core accounting processes, financial controls, and corporate finance operations within a structured energy-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the review and retirement of employee imprests to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
- Prepare and regularly update bank reconciliation schedules while investigating discrepancies.
- Manage expense and invoice workflows, verifying supporting documentation and necessary approvals.
- Post approved invoices accurately into the accounting system using correct cost coding.
- Support payroll-related accounting postings, including statutory deductions like ITF, NSITF, and Pension.
- Maintain organized financial records to ensure complete audit readiness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Progress towards or completion of professional accounting certifications such as ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping functions.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software applications.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and absolute integrity in handling sensitive data.
