About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and consultancy services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical Financial Analyst I to join our dynamic finance team in Lagos. In this role, you will provide critical financial and analytical support to ensure accurate reporting, effective cost control, and robust budget monitoring. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to drive financial efficiency, validate transactions, and support informed decision-making across our complex engineering and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive analytical support to deliver accurate and timely financial results.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve financial discrepancies and deliver ad hoc analysis.
- Prepare detailed cost reports, including financial forecasts and outlooks.
- Assist with the strategic allocation of project funds based on approved budgets and monitor ongoing project accounting.
- Validate invoices, expenditures, and change requests impacting project budgets.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to cost management processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, cost control, budgeting, or project finance.
- Basic knowledge of core financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, lookups, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial reporting tools is a strong advantage.
