About the Role

In this vital role, you will perform independent reviews of our financial records, operational processes, and internal controls across all Group entities. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of generating strong financial returns alongside measurable social and environmental impact, ensuring that our financial governance remains transparent, compliant, and robust.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute comprehensive internal and operational audit engagements across NCDF Group entities.
- Test compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and relevant regulatory requirements in the Nigerian capital markets.
- Evaluate risk management and corporate governance frameworks to identify operational vulnerabilities.
- Verify the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial statements and transactions.
- Collaborate closely with finance, operations, and management teams to discuss audit observations and support remediation plans.
- Prepare clear, structured audit reports with actionable recommendations for process improvements.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of internal audit methodologies and control procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, or CIA are strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in internal or external auditing, ideally within financial services, investment management, or capital markets.
- Strong command of accounting standards, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance practices.
- Proficiency in modern audit software, data analysis tools, and advanced office productivity suites.
- Exceptional analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
