About the Role
Aldelia Limited is a globally recognized recruitment and operational support leader dedicated to delivering specialized services across key strategic sectors. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Finance Controller to join our team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will act as the vital bridge between Head Office Finance and boutique operations, ensuring robust financial governance, accurate reporting, and seamless operational alignment across our retail or multi-location units.
Key Responsibilities- Partner closely with boutique managers on critical financial and operational matters.
- Monitor sales performance and guarantee accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee daily cash handling and perform thorough cash reconciliations.
- Review stock movements and manage comprehensive inventory reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve variances in sales, cash, and stock.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure strict policy compliance.
- Prepare detailed boutique financial and management reports.
- Support month-end closing procedures and facilitate internal and external audit activities.
- Act as the primary bridge between Head Office Finance and boutique operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is a distinct advantage.
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in financial control, retail finance, audit, or related roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in cash, sales, and inventory reconciliation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong financial analysis capabilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of internal controls and standard accounting principles.
- Prior experience in luxury retail, fashion, FMCG, or multi-location retail environments is highly preferred.
