About the Role
Thierry Technologies Nigeria Limited, a reputable and fast-growing IT firm based in Lagos, Nigeria, is seeking a diligent and highly skilled Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and strict compliance with Nigerian financial regulations. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a solid background in corporate finance and a passion for supporting business growth within the technology sector.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Ensure full compliance with local tax laws, statutory remittances, and regulatory standards in Nigeria
- Develop and manage comprehensive company budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with management
- Coordinate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules
- Implement and maintain effective internal financial controls to safeguard company assets
- Handle payroll processing and manage employee expense reimbursements efficiently
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Professional accounting certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is strongly preferred
- 5 to 10 years of proven professional accounting experience, preferably within the technology or corporate sector
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
- Deep understanding of Nigerian tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication, organizational, and ethical standards
