About the Role
Credit Direct Limited, a premier non-bank finance company headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, is seeking a driven and skilled Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic team. Operating across 25 states with over 1,000 employees and 300,000+ active customers, we are scaling rapidly to become the dominant market leader in unsecured payroll lending in Sub-Saharan Africa. In this pivotal role, you will develop and maintain accounting procedures and financial models that directly optimize the performance of our diverse business divisions.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the strategic bridge connecting the Finance department with other business units for special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to junior staff, including participation in recruitment and performance evaluations.
- Design and implement cost-effective financial systems, policies, and processes aligned with organizational goals.
- Support business planning through advanced financial modeling, variance analysis, and monthly performance packages.
- Collaborate with non-finance managers to lead the comprehensive budgeting process and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
- Minimum of an upper second-class Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) is strictly required.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar finance business partnering or financial analysis role.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong IT aptitude with a robust understanding of modern accounting principles and financial technologies.
