We are currently seeking a highly experienced, professional, and reliable Accounts Officer to manage the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate must possess a strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance, combined with a high sense of integrity, accuracy, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and monitor daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and comprehensive budget tracking.
- Process staff payroll and ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions such as PAYE, Pension, and Withholding Tax (WHT).
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian tax laws and support both internal and external audit processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records utilizing modern accounting software.
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of proven professional experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar financial role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations, tax compliance, and statutory remittances.
- Must be honest, highly detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
