We are seeking a motivated Finance Associate to join us in Lagos for a rigorous, six-week, full-time training programme starting January 11, 2027. You will tackle real-world financial and business cases, receive invaluable direct mentorship, and prove your readiness for high-impact client engagements. Key Responsibilities- Analyse complex financial statements to identify and explain key revenue, cost, and cash flow drivers.
- Build, test, and refine robust financial models while meticulously documenting underlying assumptions.
- Conduct thorough business and market research, verify data sources, and pinpoint critical information gaps.
- Draft compelling, evidence-based advisory memos and design investor- or board-ready presentation decks.
- Facilitate due diligence processes by reviewing documents, spotting potential risks, and tracking inquiries.
- Take ownership of assigned workstreams, adhere to strict deadlines, and communicate obstacles proactively.
- 2 to 4 years of total professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a directly relevant finance role.
- Strong proficiency in three-statement financial analysis and dynamic financial modelling.
- Demonstrated expertise in rigorous market research, source verification, and advisory memo writing.
- Exceptional presentation development skills tailored for investors and executive boards.
- Preferred backgrounds include startup exposure, venture capital, fundraising, and due diligence support.
