About the Role
Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme Ltd/Gte (ECEWS) is a leading indigenous non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to qualitative healthcare, education, and economic strengthening services across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Associate to join our dynamic team and contribute to impactful public health and community development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Support routine financial transaction processing and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and donor regulations.
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and organized filing systems for audit readiness.
- Support the preparation of payment vouchers, expense reports, and financial summaries.
- Assist with the regular reconciliation of petty cash, bank accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Deliver against approved milestone plans and quarterly performance targets, integrating financial support across health service platforms.
- Support statutory remittance documentation and ensure timely filing with relevant regulatory authorities.
- A minimum of a first degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- At least three (3) years of proven professional experience in a finance support or accounting role, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Good working knowledge of basic accounting practices, financial principles, and internal control systems.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
