About the Role
The IREDE Foundation (TIF) is dedicated to lending a helping hand and bringing hope to children living with limb loss, whether acquired or congenital. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our compassionate team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the financial health of our organization, ensuring we can continue our impactful mission of empowering child amputees. Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accurate processing of payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain precise financial records, prepare periodic financial reports, and organize all supporting documentation for internal and external reviews.
- Assist the management team with annual budgeting, routine expense tracking, and proactive cash flow management.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal financial policies, standard operating procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements in Nigeria.
- Collaborate with other department heads to monitor project expenditures and ensure optimal utilization of donor funds.
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field.
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or a related financial management role, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Strong working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and auditing processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, and other relevant modern accounting software.
- Exceptional analytical skills, high attention to detail, and absolute integrity in handling sensitive financial data.
