About the Role

Corus International is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Finance and Administration Manager to lead our finance and admin team for the Traceability and Resilience in Agriculture and Cocoa Ecosystems (TRACE) Project in Ikom, Cross River State, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will oversee project funds, administration, logistics, and office management while ensuring strict compliance with US Government regulations and local tax laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day financial accounting, budgeting, and fiscal controls to ensure all project costs are reasonable, allowable, and allocable.
  • Ensure compliance with Corus policies, donor guidelines, and US Government rules and regulations, including 2 CFR 200.
  • Oversee procurement, sub-office leases, asset inventory, monthly payroll, and human resource administration.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and provide financial monitoring and capacity building for sub-grantees.
  • Supervise direct reports including the Finance Assistant and Administration Officer, fostering professional growth and high performance.

Qualifications
  • Graduate Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (BAC + 4 or higher) with a formal accounting certification.
  • 5 to 8 years of professional experience in financial management and administration for international development projects.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing large US Government-funded projects with budgets exceeding $15 million.
  • Extensive knowledge of USG policies, OMB guidance, and local Nigerian tax laws and HR practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, databases, and advanced Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
