About the Role
Eden Solutions & Resources Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role is specifically designed for a finance professional with a strong background in construction, engineering, procurement, or EPC environments who understands that project accounting requires rigorous financial oversight beyond standard bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate, up-to-date financial records.
- Monitor project-related expenses, ensuring costs are correctly captured, allocated, and tracked against approved budgets.
- Review invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests to guarantee proper documentation before processing.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations teams to maintain robust financial controls.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting, alongside internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies, statutory requirements, and industry accounting standards.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience, with practical exposure to EPC, construction, or project-based environments.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ICAN or ACCA will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting software.
- Exceptional analytical, reconciliation, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including project managers and engineers.
