We are seeking a meticulous and driven Finance and Accounting Associate to join our dynamic team and serve as the operational backbone of our finance function, ensuring robust financial health as we scale our impact.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain day-to-day accounting records, manage the general ledger, and handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management accounts, and board reports.
- Support annual budgeting exercises, conduct variance analysis, and monitor project expenditures.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, monitor working capital, and track liquidity and payment obligations.
- Ensure statutory and tax compliance, maintain audit-ready documentation, and coordinate with external auditors.
- Support fundraising activities by maintaining financial data rooms, providing historical data, and supplying required financial schedules.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Relevant professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ACA (qualified or in progress preferred).
- 2 to 4 years of proven finance or accounting experience, ideally within the renewable energy, infrastructure, or corporate sector.
- Strong proficiency in modern accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
