We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Officer currently undergoing the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program to join our growing team in Nigeria. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a fresh graduate to gain comprehensive exposure to core finance operations, corporate budgeting, and financial reporting within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the finance team in maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records and general ledger entries.
- Support the processing of day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Help prepare routine financial reports, statements, and management accounts.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and various financial control activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform reconciliations and support internal and external audit processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Must currently be serving in the NYSC program (Fresh Graduate).
- In-progress or completed professional qualifications such as ICAN or ACCA are strongly preferred.
- Solid foundational knowledge of general accounting principles and financial statements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
