About the Role
Jake Riley Limited, a premier international consultancy firm in Nigeria, is seeking a driven and meticulous Finance Analyst to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our financial health, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and supporting our strategic bid and tender processes. You will work closely with senior leadership to optimize financial operations and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional value to public and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage FIRS and state revenue liaison, ensuring accurate VAT and WHT filings and reconciliations.
- Maintain current Tax Clearance Certificates (TCC) required for high-value corporate and public sector tenders.
- Handle PenCom and PFA remittances, reconciliations, and compliance certificate generation.
- Process statutory returns and prepare regulator-facing finance documentation accurately and on time.
- Supply tender-ready financial documents and reports to the Bid Board to support business development.
- Oversee accounts payable, payroll operations, and statutory deductions in compliance with Nigerian labor and tax laws.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting or Finance, with active ICAN or ACCA certification in progress.
- Up-to-date knowledge and practical understanding of the Nigeria Tax Act and local financial regulations.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, payroll systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
- Two to five years of proven professional experience in accounts payable, payroll management, or general finance operations.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience handling Nigerian payroll and statutory deductions.
