About the Role

iRecharge Tech-Innovations is a leading internet-powered distribution platform enabling users to seamlessly purchase virtual products and services such as airtime, mobile data, internet subscriptions, pay-TV, and bulk SMS. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Finance & Accounts Manager to lead our financial operations, ensure robust statutory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to support our rapid growth in Nigeria's vibrant fintech sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS, CBN regulations, and internal governance standards.
  • Manage budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making and optimal business performance.
  • Monitor treasury operations, cash flow, liquidity, and bank reconciliations to guarantee adequate funding and efficient financial management.
  • Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, statutory obligations, and CBN reporting requirements, while coordinating internal and external audits.
  • Develop and maintain strong financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis, management reports, and data-driven insights to executive management and the board of directors.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional excellence.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree (MBA or MSc in Finance) is an added advantage.
  • Mandatory ACA or ACCA certification; CIBN certification will be considered an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in finance, accounting, or financial management within the banking or fintech industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, cash flow planning, and regulatory compliance.
  • Deep understanding of IFRS, CBN regulations, statutory reporting frameworks, and internal control systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in modern accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and advanced financial reporting tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities suited for a fast-paced digital environment.
